Welcome to the website of Peter Bagnall.
This website consists of a series of photographs taken by North West photographer Peter Bagnall and consists of several indexed pages containing mainly Wildlife. There is a CONTENTS PAGE with links for you to select to take you to the species of your choice.
The website was constructed on a monitor setting of 1024 x 768 dpi and if your monitor is set to a lower setting the photographs may not align up correctly but should still be viewable.
I have uploaded pictures of a size that I consider big enough (8" x 6") for good viewing and have embedded a copyright logo onto them for obvious reasons. I am sure the logo will not spoil your enjoyment too much. Each picture is viewable by clicking on a large thumbnail picture. I have made the thumbnails large so that you can easily select the photographs you fancy viewing rather than trawling through them all although you are more than welcome to do so. When you wish to go back to the thumbnails page just click on the 'back' arrow on your browser.
The website holds part of my collection of photographs, mainly of British Wildlife.
At the end of August a fellow member of the Morecambe Photographic Society, Gordon Currie, and myself went to Northern Tanzania for an eleven day safari. We began at the Mountain Village Lodge near Arusha and as we had the first day free we walked round the lake behind the lodges with a guide. I have made a page of some of my photographs for each day of the safari. The holiday was very well organised by Ally Tucker (contact:- email@example.com ) but the actual safari was by Takims Holidays in Tanzania and I would recommend them. When I have saved some pennies I will be contacting them on www.takimsholidays.com about a safari in the southern part of the country which is now being opened up for tourism. I think, but will have to check, that off track viewing is allowed there at present which makes photography much easier.
Safari links are on the Contents Page.
You will find links on the CONTENTS PAGE to all the various species etc.
